Seems like a good idea on the surface. $137B is enough to buy almost anything. Whole countries. A 7% yield would have investors buying like flies on sh**.


On the other hand maybe they have plans for it. I would not put that idea past someone like Jobs. He certainly wanted to change the world more than he needed money.
