FWIW, I think the wave down for the "4" ended the last week of June rather than the lower low earlier that month.

Again, I know that is not the popular view, but it works with the rally into Sept 2012 and the cycles I like to keep.

My count doesn't break any rules as far as I know. IMO if your count breaks a cardinal rule it is incorrect.
I see no other way to look at it. If your count is incorrect because it breaks a rule then you MUST find another way to look at it.
As Sherlock Holmes said to Watson, "Once you have eliminated the impossible whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth."
Your count must be eliminated because it is impossible. This is one of the real advantages of EWP. By its rules it helps you eliminate the impossible.
Of course, I realize that is my opinion. No one has to share it. I have been told I am too strict in my application of EWP. I don't feel that way, however.
I might add that the Rules and Guidelines you sighted does have some errors in it. Generally it is correct.

history suggests otherwise: we need a reset just as winter follows fall
I would like to think we can work ourselves out of this mess without capitulation.
