Here in the US, we have gazillions of balloon people running around because it is only a little more expensive to eat at big mac and fries as it is to eat a healthy sandwich on whole grain bread with Turkey or sardines... because the labor costs don't reflect the actual cost to assemble the big mac to society.

ie... someone else pays for health care for the workers here in the US, usually me others like me with my insurance rates up 4x in the last 12 years... despite my being healthier today than 12 yrs ago (12 lbs lighter, give or take, and more muscle)... Other countries do health care differently... so what happens is.... different.

I asked me friend if most people he met working in Sweden brought bag lunches to work and he said, yes they did! I said that is how they afford the higher taxes... the do more themselves and eat out less, buy smaller cars, buy less stuff for their homes, etc... .

Figuring out what will happen in the grand scheme is how to make serious bucks so I appreciate your discussion on this.

For example, some might say Obamacare will eventually lead to more people eating healthy lunches and MCD will go down like Kodak...... but I think it means more semiconductor sales as we replace order takers with "Lisa" or "Wilson" who don't get sick.... and robots will eventually assemble the food.... just as robots are doing much of the factor work at fulfillment centers.
