That fact that Windows 7 lacks some drivers I had on XP ended up costing me a new printer. The overwhelming majority of what I print works fine on a black printer. I have an old (10+ years) Canon black only printer that has just kept on ticking. I was even able to refill the cartridge myself so each one lasted nearly a year before just wearing out. Windows 7 refuses to recognize that printer, no matter how I twist and screw up my face. I've looked in vain for a driver that would work, but apparently no such thing exists.

No way I'm going to rush into Win 8....

I stream Netflix on my XP Pro machine, watch it everyday.
