I agree. The lack of std slowed the incumbents allowing new comers such as CSCO and BAY to get some market share, especially considering that the x2 and flex56k licensings are mutually exclusive. ASND could have a much larger market to work with. Ditto COMS. Much of the previous TNT problem is due to the Rockwell chip itself and the gray area of not-spelled-out spec. Had a std existed a year ago, ASND would have been so far ahead of CSCO and its market share.
