Yes, tax increases to Clinton years would be fine with me. That is probably the easiest battle. However, structurally our tax system STILL would favor the rich.

I think we need to keep the regressive taxes off the books (like AMT which hits moderately successful dual income people) ... As I've said before - a wealth tax is probably more equitable than income tax. Income tax is like taxing the faucet's flow - a wealth tax is like taxing the pool. Since pools can be filled with rainwater (bypassing the faucet tax) we miss a lot of "income" (increase in pool volume, i.e., wealth).
