I HAVE NOT defending republicans actions here - so stop saying that. I fully acknowledge that republicans are evil and they should all be sent to hell - but in our world we have to deal with them. We can do it respectfully and try to reach some compromise or we can climb into our perspective ideological corner and have a pissing contest with them. Krugman is the furthest into the corner.
