well quite frankly I value the truth as opposed to "tone"

Last time I checked the "truth" sources there was, definitely, no conflict between "truth" and "good tone". In fact, that "truth" source insisted that good tone would be much more likely to persuade my audience that I was right. Bad tone just convinces my audience that I don't handle disagreements well.

But then you may well have a different "truth" source, one that tells you to trash anyone who disagrees with you. Have fun with that.

Look- we all probably post total caca at some time or another. That's the way life is. Sometimes you smell someone else's caca, sometimes we smell yours. C'est la vie. But we can be (relatively) polite about the caca- or get called on it. When called on it, try not to dig in deeper. I confess, I am occasionally rude- but when called on it I try to think about what I've done (sometimes in secret, without confession, but still...)

So which ever way you choose to reflect on John's message to you, please do reflect. We really can disagree without being rude. People do it here every day, so I know it can be done!

I'm with you Alex

The subject poster continues to rub the grain here wrong with his serial inanities

...but for some reason you are not supposed to get fed up with his crap

He has a posse here guarding his freedom of disrup....I mean speech

Sorta funny, when the board experimented with conducting itself like the rest of Silicon Investor, you know allowing recommends, our friends detractors got a lot of demonstrated concurrence with their disagreement with, you know

Anyway the solution was to retain coddling tolerance for serial gibberish and do away with recs

Problem solved, if they eye offends thee, etc....
