channel check:

I dropped my zip drive off the top of my PowerPC tower. Now all it does is go clack clack. Bought a new zip at Best Buy in the heart of technology USA, Minneapolis, MN. Paid $129.99 with a Best Buy rebate for $30. There were only 2 left on the shelf, both in boxes that were badly damaged.

Kjude, I have watched S&Ps for months. They are NEVER right on those fair value numbers.

Don't waste your time being concerned with it. In fact, it changes every single week.

Powerful stuff "k". Compaq will sell a ton of these. IOM is definately in. A gorilla for sure. I can't believe I bought this stock so cheap... for a change: :-)

<< Another model, the 4550, will add a Zip drive, a 4GB hard drive and a 24x CD-ROM drive. It will ship in the first week of January at a $1,299 minimum advertised price, sources said. >>

This doesn't mention all the other recent news where the ZIP will be included with various company's basic systems. Sure glad they got the recent court order blocking counterfeit disks.
