Nice rhyme scheme. But the reality appears to be that they::

"Buys it back or files Chapter 11
Cause the cost of litigation
Exceeds the pain from Shorty's invasion"

But not to worry, SIPC will come to the rescue if the Brokerage firm goes under trying to cover.
