I realize that. Therefore, in honor of this occasion, I have taken the privilege of adding a new word

to the English lexicon. This word is "bickling".

To "bickle" (verb): to make stuff up on the nature of cause, with regard to any effect, particularly in the
information domain.

Will someone please communicate this to the Oxford English Dictionary people so that they can make the
necessary adjustments to their language manuals and so forth?

I would call them myself, but I hate it when they start each phone conversation by singing "God shave the queen!".
