Could you explain your statement about Apple wasting dividends on people that don't appreciate it? I do appreciate the dividends as they are more than paying for my BMW.

If Apple keeps their current dividend and/or decides to raise the dividend yearly then why is this different than voodoo preferred stock? Keep it simple stupid comes to mind. Apple needs to concentrate on making money by producing or introducing great new products.

Could you also explain your statement to the board about losing money in thin air? Is that the same thing as making money in thin air? I think Cogito (aka Allen) made a statement that the only time the stock price matters is when you buy it and sell it (paraphrase).
