Many things, TC. Like the majority of Americans don't track with core Republican beliefs. The Republican party has moved far to the Right. And that isn't where the country is. Like y'all need to run against the actual candidates the Democrats put up for election. Not the loony cartoon characters the wing nut echo chamber comes up with. It makes y'all look detached from reality. Like there are too many regulations on everything but women's bodies is not a winning strategy. Like attacking blacks and Hispanics isn't a winning strategy either. Like dividing Americans into 'us' and 'them' isn't working either. Especially when 'them' includes a substantial fraction of your base. And that is just scratching the surface. Making up 'scandals' Does not fix the issues.
