Carole - call the nice company. They are sitting beside the phone. They are the answer, they are the truth, they are the light. We are one. I am tired.

Carole: I don't think you can stop the shorting.
except by calling your certificates. (certs)
If they have sold more than the float they will be forced to cover.
The second way that I know of is by the market itself...If the price of the stock goes up, they tend to cover themselves, without any encouragement from anyone.
I think that if the company continues to make progress, as it seems to be doing, they will just naturally cover.
The risk becomes too great for them..
I hope that helps a little..
If anyone else can contribute, please do..

As I recall, there were three key steps in the plan to squeeze the shorters

1. Buy as much as we can which I think we did.
2. Request our certificates which I think we did **
3. Hold our positions...Ahhhhh, there's the rub!

**Calling for certs has a delayed reaction. It may seem to accomplish little as the first X hundred thousand certs are received easily, but then the vise starts to get tighter...unless everyone starts panic selling and that unravels the squeeze. It's just that simple.
