Is his Mother still alive? Dr Carson also told the story about he and his brother having to read and write at least two book reports a week.. He said the interesting thing was she couldn't read very well, because she just went to the 3rd grade....BUT the boys didn't realize that until much later..... She must have been such a wonderful influence.....I'd like to know her.... This made me get weepy..... Her life motto served her well while raising her two sons, coping with anxiety and depression, and trying to make ends meet. Sonya Carson chose God because "I don't have any friends. I don't have anyone else to turn to. God, you're going to have to be my friend, my best friend. And, you're going to have to tell me how to do things and give me wisdom, because I don't know what to do." (p. 45)

re: Dr Carson I heard him this morning on Fox. The transmission was suspiciously cut off, but he returned later. He is retiring from surgery this June, and although he did not specifically say he is interested in politics, he would not rule it out. He said that he is neither democrat or republican, but if there was a logic party, he would join that. He credits God with much of his success and his reasoning, so expect the libs to begin on destroying him this week, probably 5X worse than with Herman Cain. I like the guy....he has more guts than me doing what he did to Obama from a few feet away. We need a guy like him!
