At least NE is part of the USA, unlike the Province of Wisconsin. Is it true they build houses where you are with elevated first floors since you guys just walk on top of the fallen snow because it's too hard to shovel it all away? We only had about 18 inches here, about six of which I cleared in two snowblower runs last night, with the remainder taking me about two hours to finish this morning. About 20 years ago when we first moved here, I would just use a shovel, which took about six hours with some storms as I recall. Those were the days... - Jeff
