Rumour has it that there are umpty million unemployed people in the USA. They could swoop onto the crops in Georgia and do the work if they are actually unemployed and looking for work and not just scooping up some easy pickings from the taxpayers. <Crops Rotting In Georgia Since Illegal Alien Farm Workers Fled State > I used to travel the country [and world] doing whatever work, including harvesting. It must be somebody else's turn now.

With the invaders gone and their replacements going off the dole to do something useful, the fiscal cliff should turn into a fiscal mountain. Those people you know who are picking up cigarette butts and collecting aluminium cans could go and harvest crops.
