For me it would depend on the acquisition. If they have a way to obviate the carriers and narrowcast video, narrowcast audio, I would be interested. That would change everything.

23B for a satellite network? Not much really if one got all three.

Particularly if you can connect anywhere. My guess is that satellite phone was not ready for prime time, but maybe with chip advances there is a way.

I've though for a long time Jobs was thinking along those lines.

Buying a content company? I wouldn't like that. Jobs sold his to concentrate on Apple.
