The large mammals of the Americas were not pleased when they met the marauding primates from Asia. I dare say the mammals of north America were even less pleased to meet the English. Times were tough all around. Invasion is rarely good for those invaded, unless it was the English who brought common law and a much improved way of life such as in New Zealand. Islamic Jihad was apparently quite good for many of the invaded too because it freed them from their totalitarian masters. Can I just fly to the USA and become an "undocumented worker"? Cool.
