Where do you get the idea that irradiation and ozone cleaning will "quantuple" the price of food. Really now. Yesterday I heard on the radio, the FDA approval of irradiation was being dicussed, that it would add about 1 penny per pound to the cost of beef.

I'm long OZON (with almost 8% of my holdings) but it seems to me that we should not ignore the threat posed by this competing technology. If only .01/lb, it is not cost prohibitive, and if people get the idea that it is no worse than zapping your food in the microwave then I think it will be accepted.
