We haven't had cable TV (except for the cheapest service- around 14 dollars) for years. We had relied on Netflix and Blockbuster stores, then Blockbuster went belly up, and we had to pay for Amazon Prime- to get some text books in a rush, and now we just stream Netflix and Amazon- plus we get Kindle books for free, which is nice.

I'm sure they'll find a way to charge us more eventually, but it's sure nice right now. I feel I'm getting way more than I'm paying for. But we have virtually quit going out to the movies. I feel a little guilty about that- like I should be supporting the industry, but we've got a series of plays, a series of concerts, social commitments, and a ginormous queue of movies to see. We just don't have time to get out to the movies any more. :-(
