You have to do and say everything exactly right these days or you will get excommunicated. Yep. They believe in freedom of speech only as long it is the correct speech. You can be free to hold any opinion, just as long as it is the correct opinion. I used to joke about it but now I see that perspective is very real. They are channeling Orwell's 1984 in ways that are hard to believe. They believe in a democracy much like the one the founders of this country crafted..............if you are white and male you get to participate. Everyone else....not so much. As one person on another board pointed out, they even have their equivalent to Hate Week.. Hate Week Because that is what their echo chamber amounts to. It seems that's a common thread among all autocratic societies. That requirement was well played out in The Hunger Games. There is a need for constantly stimulating hatred while focusing on what's perceived as a common enemy or enemies. Its not surprising that for an example Harris keeps referencing the Soviet Union and 'commies'. I just would like to know from where all their hate and anger comes. Its rare to meet a winger who isn't angry and hateful.
