Quite possible although nothing was made of people
having faith, or believing but again I can see your point
and agree it should be for everyone.

and when you talk openly about the Vatican and how they may control one fifth of the worlds physical wealth....it breaks the pope down into a massive breakdown..... and he has to resign within 24 hours due to the spotlight shown upon him and his church......

news.sky.com Pope Benedict XVI is to resign on February 28 due to his "deteriorating" health.

He will be the first head of the Roman Catholic Church to resign in almost 600 years, with his departure expected to leave the post vacant for around three weeks.

The 85-year-old German's resignation letter said: "After having repeatedly examined my conscience before God, I have come to the certainty that my strengths, due to an advanced age, are no longer suited to an adequate exercise of the Petrine ministry.

"I am well aware that this ministry, due to its essential spiritual nature, must be carried out not only with words and deeds, but no less with prayer and suffering.

"However, in today's world, subject to so many rapid changes and shaken by questions of deep relevance for the life of faith, in order to govern the bark of Saint Peter to me."he will step down after almost eight years in the post, having beenand proclaim the Gospel, both strength of mind and body are necessary, strength which in the last few months, has deteriorated in me to the extent that I have had to recognise my incapacity to adequately fulfil the ministry entrusted elected in April 2005.

Speaking at a hastily-arranged news conference, Vatican spokesman Federico Lombardi said: "The pope caught us a bit by surprise.

"We should have a new pope for Easter."

He told reporters a conclave could be held within 15 or 20 days of the resignation - and insisted Pope Benedict XVI was not stepping down because of any difficulties in the papacy.

Mr Lombardi added that the pope's vigour had "sadly diminished in recent times", but praised the pontiff's "humility and great honour".

The pope's brother, Georg Ratzinger, said the pontiff had been advised by his doctor not to take transatlantic trips for health reasons - and that he had been considering resigning for months.

He said his brother was having increasing difficulty walking and that his resignation was part of a "natural process."

His age is weighing on him," the 89-year-old said of his 85-year-old brother. "At this age my brother wants more rest."

As I have been suggesting these are the days when the Lord .... cleans house and moves everyone out who is not to the Lord's pleasing........... THE POPE IS NOT IMMUNE..... anyone who feels secure...... can only feel this way if they are living and dedicating their life to the Lord......

THe Lord is in the Drivers seat and we are simply in the passenger seat..... I pray for my SI fiends that don't believe in our LORD and feel that they Direct their own life............ Unfortunately the Hammer shalll drop on you to demonstrate the folly of this Thinking......

May you have all my blessing and all of Christ's blessings, and never forget that Irsraeli is God's chosen people... and the Israeli's although a stiff necked people at various times in the old testiment....... They are God's chosen people and Israeli and especially Jerusalem will sustain.
