Against what, Wayners? Violent crime is very low in this country. Even lower if you factor out certain areas. Which usually aren't very interesting in the first place. But because there are piddling little pussies like yourself, we have a flood of guns on the street. Enough so that if you are a victim of violent crime, chances are much higher than in other countries you will wind up dead. So because you are a trembling bed wetter, cowering from your imaginary fears, everyone else runs a higher risk of being killed than they might otherwise. That is a significant social cost so that people like you can feel like a man. And it doesn't even help with protection. The odds of you being shot while carrying a concealed weapon is 4 to 5 times than if you don't carry. Now you, being a winger, probably see no problem with putting others at risk when you do something counter-productive like this. There is a name for people like that Wayners. They are called sociopaths. And I am pretty tired of them having a say in policy. The US isn't some Mad Max-like, post-apocalyptic wasteland that y'all seem to think we live in. Your chance of dying by violence has been dropping for centuries. And that trend has not stopped. Or even slowed much.
