That doesn't mean I necessarily think all unions are bad, though. Workers need SOME protection or they will be treated as commodities with no protection at all. Workers today have more than adequate "protection" provided by government regulation. I don't necessarily declare all unions bad, but ALL public sector unions are bad and should be abolished. Some unions are so powerful today they need to be destroyed. Highest on that list would be all public sector -- with teachers at the top of the list. In general, I think they've far outlived their usefulness.
