Well, at least you didn't vote for Obama. Your stock just went up.

Given the make up of Congress and that Romney is a leader rather than a bully, you didn't really think he could have gotten taxes cut anything like that much did you? Given that Governor Romney does not speak conservative as his native tongue, he obviously had to make some concession to win support from conservatives. He obviously thought that a tax cut proposal would help.

Instead we are stuck with possibly the only person in the world who could make PResident Bush 43 look like a fiscal conservative. 43 spent more money than every President in history combined in 7 1/2 years. OBama has spent more than every President in history in 4 1/2 years. He has compounded the problem in the first couple of months of this year. Yet he says we don't have a spending problem. Perhaps he is right, we don't have a spending problem, we have a delusional leader with a spending problem problem.

I didn't bother to vote anyway because I'm in a state that was going to go for the Republican so it wasn't worth the effort.

Sometime the token effort is important. In 2008 I made a point of voting for the liberal despite the fact he was going to lose to the socialist. Every vote cast against a boob makes it that much harder for him or her to claim they have any kind of a mandate.
