This is advantageous for the US because the Middle Easterners are likely to trust him more and warm up to him thereby enabling sincere and frank mutual exchange of ideas, a circumstance that is important and helpful in negotiations, decision making and formulation of policies and etc. To folks who are mistrustful, John Brennan and Obama are likely to be traitorous. Be that as it may, that suspicion needs to be proven. If evidence warrants it, either or both of them could be removed from office at a later date. For now, the protests and whining of folks against the appointment of Brennan as the new head of the CIA smacks of "xenophobia", mistrustfulness, tendentiousness, irrational fear-mongering, and perhaps jealousy, too. IMO, Guandolo is a jealous armchair theorist probably in the service of the Zionists. Look! What have smart home-grown Americans like Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Petraeus and ex. CIA chiefs & etc achieved for America? Nothing but military and financial quagmires too goddamned hard to escape from!!! It is high time a new approach to solving problems be tried. Why not make a new start ----- with Brennan ?
