China was never set up to help its people. Just like Russia was never set up to help its people. Just like Venezuela isn't set up now to help its people. The communist thing was just a gimmick to get the poorest of the poor to support the Leaders until they could get full control. Workers were never benefitted in any of those countries. Just like workers weren't benefitted in the U.S. prior to the first Roosevelt Administration. In the early 1900's it was recognized that workers in the U.S. were treated like slave labor with NO rights. Things got better in the U.S. for workers in the 1910's and 1920's when industrialisation took off and people like Henry Ford realized that if you wanted a dependable workforce you needed to treat your workers like people rather than just commodities.
