Can I pick biotechs or what? ZIOPHARM Terminates Development of Palifosfamide in Metastatic Soft Tissue Sarcoma EDIT - actually, I shouldn't be that down on myself. Other than the big hit to my charity portfolio, we had already taken out our original investment in ZIOP and have only the profit portion riding at this stage. We always use this strategy with our biotech investments, due to the nature of these unknown events. Every now and then we get one the blows up before we've had a chance to take profits but that's much more rare these days (thank goodness!!).
