Cabletron has a much more diverse product line and loyal customer base than Ascend does in my opinion. Ascend and Cabletron have very few product similiarities. Ascend is a WAN outfit and CS is primarily a LAN company. As far as this thread being a whole lot deader than the ASND thread, I agree! At least people are much less rude here also!

There is a small difference ASND droped from $80 to $20 or 75% , while CS drop so far from abot $40 to $15 or 63%, but who s counting.
