Very thoughtful of SI to pay tribute to a deceased member. Cogito was moderator of 5 threads here on SI. This brings me to wonder if maybe moderators should assign a successor when they start a topic to maintain the integrity of the thread according to his/her intent. It would be a shame to see any thread go downhill because some idiot/moron/asshole takes it over and makes changes that the original moderator would abhor.
