Yes you imagined something: There is a huge difference between your terminology a "call for arming students and staff" (which suggest putting arms in the hands of people who would not be armed otherwise) vsallowing people who are licensed gun owners to carry arms for personal protection. This proposal does not suggest that we begin arming anyone.

Considering the fact that texas and states like it make it a snap for anyone to get a weapon, that would be a big difference...in your mind anyway.

By the way, isn't it like sex ed where you claim they are going to be engaging in lascivious behavior anyway so let's give them pills and condoms for their personal protection?

Yeah...there you go. With one you don't get pregnant, with the other someone shoots you dead either in anger or a stupor of alcohol or drugs, or friendly fire...you name it...but...same thing...in your mind again.
