Of course they are. We just reelected the most incompetent fool ever to work in the White House because he was able to capture 100% of the idiot vote.

Can a popular actress who has no apparent understanding of issues be far behind? Remember, MN elected Al Franken -- not because he had any understanding of the issues, but because he had name recognition as a comedian.

Those who oppose such nonsense ought to be downright paranoid when Ashley Judd or Alec Baldwin start talking about running for elected office. There are nitwits who will vote for them. These people are NOT Ronald Reagan and do not have the kind of sensible judgment that made Reagan a success. They are simply names that commonly show up on the pages of the entertainment media.

"She is way far out on the left wing of the Democratic Party, which is not very far out left in Kentucky."

Really? Was he misquoted or has he lost his marbles?

I saw that.......I think turd blossom misspoke; that or everyone else is misquoting him.

At this point, I have no idea if Judd intends to seek elected office or whether she'd fare well as a candidate if she ran. But when was the last time Republicans freaked out at this level about an inexperienced candidate Democrat in a "red" state more than 20 months before an election cycle?

One who knows nothing about Kentucky at that...they must be shell shocked from the last election...

Oh wait.........Judd use to live in KY.......she knows the state fairly well. And McConnell whom she would run against has a 37% approval rating. But yeah, its a long shot and yet, the Rs are freaking out.
