Oh, forgot to mention: Thank goodness the Apple thread got an Apple ex-employee as the moderator. Otherwise - should an impartial, non-Apple employee type moderator have been picked - I might fall over backwards in my chair, when faced by a modicum of balanced moderation on that there Apple thread. Which could have resulted in my injury. Nightmare. ;-) As is, moving along, nothing to see, no dreams, just more of the tight assed, Apple slanted, no real discourse beyond positive regurgitations, from here to infinity... Happy AAPL investing, All! Me? I remain banned there, so forget about me and my (not in) AAPL views. :-)))

Think I dreamt up a simple, elegant, democratic solution to the Apple thread monitor vote, if there were to be one. Make a series of posts, each containing nothing but the name of a possible candidate. Everyone can be named. A week later, the one with the most recommendations is the new Apple thread moderator. If they decline, go down the list until someone takes the gig. If there is a tie, SI Admin breaks it. "When a thing gets to be absolutely unbearable the people can rise up and throw it off. Indicative, isn't it? Not the Allen way to sweep it under the rug and move on, as if this matter no longer exists. Like his solution or not, Allen would have dealt with it, head on.
