The number I recall is zero but I could be wrong. In any case Bush replaced a situation where a few of our airmen were "directly threatened" with one where thousands of our soldiers were "killed". Hardly a bargain. Re: "... not to mention to all of US assets in the region." I don't know what you mean by "assets". If our allies wanted to get rid of him they could have publicly begged us to help. They didn't. -- Carl
