I never watch SOTU's - it's a ridiculous theater exercise. I skimmed the full text when it was out and watched stuff I recorded on my DVR while I was on the road. Can't remember the last time a SOTU launched a big new initiative that later passed. And the rehashing this morning is just more partisan theology. Thank goodness the big speechifying season is over.

You have to feel sorry for Boehner - seems like a decent guy but looking more and more depressed lately. Someone who cries as much as he does is clearly caught on the wrong side of the aisle! LOL Rubio was awful. Which if you've watched rubio even a little is NOT at all surprising. He's the equivalent of so many modern day TV shows. They think they can put any decent looking photogenic minority in a role and have a hit! Great stuff from Obama. Give us a vote! Gotta love it.
