If you have been watching the MM's like I have you wouldn't be saying that. I shorted ALYD through FAHN and I know for a fact that they STILL have short positions that they have not covered. If go back and check out the posts I made when ALYD was heading towards $11.00, you would see that ALLN was the one hammering the stock.

ALLN is a BIG TIME player in ALYD, and they are the main ones that are bidding the stock higher.

If you check the post I made that showed how many times each of the MM's were on the bid side vs. how many times they were on the offer, you would see what I am talking about.

If you think that this move up in the stock price is just because everyone thinks ALYD is going to $50! then you have not been in this game long enough.

I am telling you that there has been major short covering. I have watched almost every trade in ALYD for the last 2 days. This is no
"theory"

I have been trading stocks for over 15 years and I think I have a good idea of what short covering is. The momentum that is generated, if the move is strong enough, often feeds itself. That is what we are seeing now.

It was started by the NASDAQ listing announcement and every news release the company adds in to the mix will add to the momentum.
