Cultures can be all Islamic, then all Christian, then all Catholic, followed by all Protestant, all secular, one politic or another. The true believers who orchestrate change can manipulate the masses and we have seen it over and over again. The media followed every cue, the chanting was on cue, the conductor (Obama) was a master over the event. It was an amazing presentation that was supposed to represent the American view point. I think the masses will fall in line. I hope I'm wrong, the so called culture war in America may turn things around. People like those on this thread may not be the true believers (yet) but they will happily stand in a crowd and chant and cheer. I'm pretty sure the masses will follow the cue too. Stalin believed he was right and good, so did Genghis Khan, Hitler, Napoleon, Mao Tse-Tung etc. and the cultures they lead fell right in line. Does any of this look familiar? "1. Seduce the populace into accepting the government as the arbitrator of all problems; government from cradle-to-grave 2. Begin delivering on those services to make the citizens dependent 3. Take away the citizens' guns 4. Increase taxes on all services while destroying any free market alternative services 5. Blame the chosen scapegoat for the inability to meet demand for services 6. Have the centralized national police force round up any dissidents " The free market offers economic freedom, which leads to personal autonomy, it serves society with little government interference and must be destroyed by a government that seeks to control markets and to establish power over the people.
