And the inflation from the 90s and early 00s was offset by exporting our manufacturing base and importing cheap stuff. The ways to destroy America are getting thinner and thinner. It is a marvel to me that they can engineer higher house prices while driving down wages. I heard big O in his SOTU talking about housing prices on the rise again, like that's such a great thing. How about bragging about auto prices going up, or oil, or tuition, or medical? We don't have to produce anything so long as housing prices go up... I guess that's it.
