Was he perfect in his first term? Nope, I'd like to have seen him do more in green energy, but suggest he isn't on the left is just not even arguable from where I sit politically. Very well said. The perfect the enemy of the good and all that stuff.

<<Bailed out the Auto companies, pushed through a health care plan, ended the mess in Iraq (and MORE importantly didn't start a mess in one of the other deteriorating Muslim countries), extended unemployment insurance at the federal level (AND put stimulus money to work hiring more teachers and fire fighters and cops), ended don't ask don't tell in the military and added his voice to those opposing fair treatment no matter what your sexual preference, took on the food industry and demanding safer food through testing, appointed two sane people to the Supreme Court, and on and on........>> Bailing out the Auto companies just shows how Obama has been bought and controlled by Corporate America. Is Obamacare universal healthcare or socialized medicine? I wasn't aware that is a political issue. I also didn't know that only Democratic liberals/centrists can appoint sane people to the Supreme Court? It never use to be that way. Yes, Obama is left of Bush, but he is still modestly right wing in my book. .....
