"I mean the personal responsibility of not riding bareback until you know that you can support your progeny."

And for not knowing that the horse has genetically weak bones programmed to snap the 10th or 12th time he carries somebody? Y'all be craving a fictional world in which none of us are leaves on the wind, blown about by great forces beyond our control. The reality is that most of us are.

"So I got studied hard and had a great job with AIG...";; "Oh, I had a great job building houses for people working for AIG"; "I was a cop and my husband was a teacher in a town where everybody had good jobs cuz we were hired by the city where AIG was headquartered." "I got a 7 figure salary from AIG's law firm". "I was 2 months from graduating, with a firm offer from da Lehman Bros, who were paying off my school loan as a signing bonus...". "I'm with Ford. GM and Chrysler went down, and that was good, but then the supply chain collapsed with only 1 manufacturer instead of 3, and then we went down cuz we didn't have a supply chain."

In that world of fiction, green leaves aren't blown from trees, and dead leaves are blown away, exit stage right. On earth, those leaves hang around. People commit crimes, people get sick and spread diseases to the rest of us, people use the doorways of banks and brokers for toilets, etc. Maybe hawk up some TB-loaded loogies and deposit them on the door handle of yer favorite coffee shop. Maybe spread some amoebic dysentery.

Too many people who came from a situation very much like my own and who I know are simply lazy.
What is bugging me is seeing able bodied men standing on corners with signs all day asking for $$$. I know our State hands out EBT like candy....jobs that pay $12-15/hour go unfilled. I think about the scum sucking jobs I've worked in my life and I have zero sympathy.
