Carnival Cruise Lines actually owns a number of cruise line companies, but for different markets, the cheapest of which is Carnival itself... they also own Princess, Holland America, Seaborne, Costa, and some others... Carnival is the lowest grade and Seaborne is the top class grade... all different costs for the same thing based on the cruise family you go with... Costa is mostly a European run ship line, I think it's also low grade, the food is crap and the service is even worse... you have to know what you're doing in order to pick the right kind of cruise... we always go with Princess, it's absolutely top class and you get treated like one of the owners... heck, for as many cruises we've taken with Princess, we should be one of the owners... LOL!!!
