But there is one thing I cannot go beyond: the cries of young children going hungry and people dying from insufficient funds to pay for healthcare/surgery/drugs. There are a lot of people who are barely above the poverty line, but cannot afford the outrageous cost of health insurance. I care about these people because I'm human. The "disease" you speak of, in your typical condescending manner, does not lie with liberals, but lies inside you, in your cold uncaring heart. Ten years ago I had a retinal detachment and the firsr retinal group I went to would not do the surgery I needed to have done within 5 days (or I would go blind) because my private insurance was not on their list of health insurance they accept. Forget about the fact that my health insurance (old major medical coverage I've had for close to 40 years) pays a lot more than all the other HMOs. All that mattered to these retina specialists was money; it was quite OK with them to have me go blind in my left eye unless I had the insurance they deemed appropriate. From where you sit, that's their perogative. From where I sit, that's a crime and should be made illegal. I know all about the privilege of being rich, as I worked hard and earned my money and never lacked for anything I desired. But no one has a right to be rich as long as one person is dying because he didn't get the necessary care because he didn't have health insurance. <<So many of your positions are joined at the hip with those of Benito and Adolph, and no one has ever explained the similarities to you. >> Now you are talking without thinking. And since I like to post and interact on a wide variety of threads, I had no problem with the conservative bee hive coming at me from all different angles and attacking me for my positions. I was willing to address each criticism from each poster; but then the The Sissy Marine Boy, goldworldnet, sent me a PM and asked me not to post. So, now you are out of your conservative bee hive, with none of your right wing punk friends, able to support you. You are a BIG NOTHING who has nothing better to do than blame liberals for your sorry state of affairs, which is your life.
