Try as I might to put in into context of what I was saying - I can't understand what you are trying to say. Many of the criticisms of Obama embody the notion that he isn't the prefect liberal/progressive/etc. And because he slips on a count or two, he is, thus, not a liberal/progressive/etc. And, thus slips a category in the political categorical system. And your response was that he has done a ton of very good things, that can easily be called progressive, etc. And that simply evoked, at least in my mind, the old cliche the the desire to enact the perfect policy is often the enemy of the opportunity to do good policy work.
