Did I miss something?

2.94% of the float is traded today (5 mil / 2 = 2.5 mil) (2.5 mil / 85 mil = 2.94%) Maybe one half of that 2.94% (1.47% of the float) was selling and the stock price drops by 50%.

GIVE ME A BREAK!

I know I may not be market savvy, but should a 1.5% sell off really cause the stock price to drop by 50%.

When the float hits 25 mil or less, does that mean the sell off of 375,000 shares (1.5%) will drop the stock price by 50%.

I thought one of the great features of the MM system was that it creates a market by holding an inventory, helping to stabilize a stocks price.

But come on, 1.5% selling, 50% drop in share value, really!

I guess the nice thing is 1.5%(of the float) buying causes a 100% increase in share price. If you look at it that way, and we play by those rules, we could make some big $$$ on this thing knowing trading patterns and the resulting effects on the price.

Anybody else have any ideas about this interesting pattern?
