Gresham Resources Inc GRC VSE December 19, 1997 Bow Creek Drilling Program GRESHAM RESOURCES INC. ("GRC-V;GRHRF-L") - Bow Creek Drilling Program James R. Glass, Chairman of the Board of Gresham Resources Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to announce the results of drilling operations on the first two (2) test wells located in the Company's multiple objective Bow Creek project. The first well, the Prociw #44-12 well encountered 15 feet of net pay in the Mississippian Fryburg formation at a depth of 9,220 feet and is now being completed. The Company; and its partners will commence a production testing program and will examine the potential of developing the Fryburg using horizontal drilling. The second well, the Tessier #33-9, encountered no shows and was plugged and abandoned at a depth of 10,510 feet. The Company was fully carried on the costs of this well.
