Got it. They were wrong, but Cheney lied. I see how this works. When every person who had access to the intelligence comes to the same conclusion, you can argue they're wrong. But it is more difficult to claim they were attempting to mislead anyone. The decision was correct. The intelligence was wrong. The decision to base the war on WMD was wrong. But Saddam needed to be removed and I've yet to meet a liberal who would want Saddam back in power today.
