Am I runner up for the "Big V" award (award for the Most Verbose)

Wow, you got my vote.. Must have worn down your fingers typing all of that..

As for the types of trading.. I knew what Day Trading was, but because I don't read many of them trading books written after 1983,

I wasn't aware of this positional trader term.

I agree with most of what you said.

Regards
Don

Two prime emotions are fear and greed. The restrictions in "DAY"trading to the day only is an example of fear. Fear that things will change outside their control. The selection of stocks seem to be based on capitalization not TA or FA, Just give me a stock that seems to be moving and jump on, jump off when it doesn't feel right. If the decisions are made based on "feel" with fear driving exits, there would seem to be a big variance in sucess. I noticed back in Aug-Sept that the 1-5 day trade had come to the front. A sign of topping? maybe.

I don't care how someone chooses to trade as long as they make money. I will follow this to see how y'all come out on this and If risk is reduced.

Bob, you sure have changed your mindset, that is not good or bad but a statement of fact. Be sure and give us a verbose review of your daytrading/tape reading.
