Hi KLP, I think we will find it true that Silicon Investor has been a website that was on the cutting edge of the Web time continuum chronology that the Yale Scientist has developed..... I can see this concept growing in time. I remember My Cousin Mark Madden being over at my place in 1999, and he was talking about the fact that the web had already become a place where there was way too much information and what was needed was a way of distilling the information out there to give you only what you where looking for. Google has made quite a lot of money attempting to do this.... but they went for the big money by letting people pay to get their info at the head of the line.

when we look at sites like khanacademy.org. I think we are seeing a glint of the future of education and it's exceptionally exciting.

I took an online course at the University of Houston.... It was a Finance course somewhere between a senior in college and an MBA course which was Investments and Stock Portfolio Construction..... It had elements of the Bulletin Board..... Online Powerpoint presentations...... Group Homework..... a reallly excellent set of downloadable spreadsheets and all types of downloadable finance workbooks..... that was tied into Material in this 1000 plus page $200 a copy textbook....

It was a very interesting experience...... I found that the other people in the virtual class.... and there were only 11 had a really limited amount of time they wanted to invest...... (word had gotten around that it was a very; hard course and no one wanted to take it)

Stephen Wolfram, has an organization that has sent me a couple of invitations to some type of 3 week workshop that he has each June or so up in New England...... It looks interesting..... but my time/work situation has never meshed.......
