Joey and AMDites, Re -- Low price on PriceWatch is now $230... Anybody wonder, if CPQ is selling the TOP OF THE LINE 233's in a sub-1000 PC, what it will do to the rest of the 233 market. In order to compete, the 233 will have to be sold for less than $100 to tier3 OEMS otherwise they wont be able to sell against CPQ. Petz.. Please compute the ASP for AMD.. Use whatever numbers you want for the speed distribution. AMD is getting itself into VERY DEEP DOO DOO. CPQ should have waited for at least 1Q more, so that AMD could have at least made some money on the 233's. Also the demand is begining to be suspect.. Stockman
